ONE-DAY WORKSHOP

This one-day workshop is designed to give complementary therapists from all disciplines a better understanding of the primary healthcare environment.In addition, it provides practical ideas and suggestions in the key areas of:

• Working with orthodox healthcare professionals
• Client management in a healthcare setting
• Referral procedures
• Therapy practice in a healthcare setting

More and more health professionals are working to create whole person care. In many cases, this is a response to patients’ long-term ill health and the increasing strain on health services. Over 17 million people in Britain suffer some form of chronic illness and 80% of GP consultations are taken up dealing with these illnesses.

Patient choice and demand are the new driving force towards a more integrated NHS—in a recent survey 63% of people said they wish to see complementary medicine available on the NHS

The Workshop will be led by Pauline Wilkie, Founder of The Phoenix College of Crystal Therapy.
